The country Sao Tome and Principe a West African state  is made up of two small Islands separated 100 miles from each other and they are considered by many people as the paradise Islands of the Equator.

The Island of Principe at the north  is the smallest between the two Islands.
Because of its natural resources  like the green vegetation, endemic species and white sand beaches it  certainly has all the precondition created  for the ecotourism development.
The National Government with the full support of the President Mr Fradique de Menezes has committed  it self to create all the necessary infrastructures that will help to boost the tourism industry  and allow the Island of Principe to finally enter a new stage of its development.
The planned and already budgeted construction of an international airport with almost 2000 meters runaway and also the programmed  construction of a deep sea port within the next 3 years will be the main steam for the launching of the Principe economy.

Localization : 150 miles from the West Coast of Africa , 100 miles from the Island of Sao Tome.
Air ways company : STP Airways flies  Mon. , Wed, Fri, Sat  to/from Sao Tome.
Population : 5000 inhabitants.
Size : 142 sqkm

Principe Island is located on the north of Sao Tome Island. View from the sea of the Santo Antonio Bay. Principe Island is well known for its clean and beautiful beach like this one.


Hotel Principe - ****

This Hotel will the first Internacional standard Hotel in  the city of Sto Antonio and it .has been built on the beach front of the city.
With the projected infrastructure like the new airport and  the deep sea port this Hotel project can be considered as viable in mid term considering also the fact that the oil industry will bring the oil platforms people and oil riggers to the offshore of Principe Island.

Phases of the construction :


The construction of the building started in  May the 2nd 2007. The work started with the levelling of the site as showed below.

Influence of the offshore oil activities at the Exclusive Exploration Zone in STP.

With the offshore oil activities for the oil exploration mainly nearby  the Principe Island we can predict the presence of several oil related companies on the Principe Island.
Therefore as there is not a single accommodation with an acceptable service on this Island, this Hotel project can be considered as viable considering that it will respond to the primary needs of the people looking for an international  standard level accommodation.
